SKILLS ON SHOW AT LETTERHEADS 2024
The 'Keepers of the Craft' met in Mandura, WA, for Letterheads 2024. The three-day event in June was a demonstration of attendees' passion for the traditional craft of sign writing, providing them with an opportunity grow their skills, share hints and tricks, and expand their industry connections. It was impressive to see the depth of skill on show as participants took part in everything from traditional sign writing, to gold leaf and pinstriping, air brushing, lettering, sandblasting and more.

LEGAL | EMPLOYERS FACE HIGHER COSTS TO DEFEND HARASSMENT CLAIMS
Both houses of Parliament have now passed the final piece of legislation enacting the Government's Respect@Work reforms, and it will likely make it much riskier, and more expensive, for employers to defend sexual harassment claims in court. The experts at ABLA have put together an article outlining what will change, and what you, as an employer, should consider. It's a must-read - and for those with questions about the new 'positive duty', ABLA's positive duty how-to-guide and toolkit is also a great resource.

SUPPORT THE COMPANIES THAT SUPPORT YOUR ASSOCIATION
|
|
|
HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR CURRENT MEMBERS SAY...
“Our ASGA membership not only gives us access to important resources and expertise, it connects us to a network of like-minded businesses who can help to provide the understanding and support which can be so valuable when you are running a business. - Ben Kemp - Sign Effects, Wodonga & Wangaratta “In my opinion membership of ASGA is a must. We’ve been part of the Association since Day 1, and have used the member benefits on many occasions. In particular, having professional legal and workplace advice and counsel there when we need it is worth way more than the membership fee we pay. Money well spent for sure!”
– Dave, Signarama Redlands.
Amongst everything you are going through, we think you are doing an absolutely brilliant job and we are so grateful to be a part of this organisation, led by you and your team. Thank you for all you do.
- Sue, QLD
Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and team for all the general advice and updates throughout this year. If this isn’t a testament to being a ASGA member I don’t what is.
- Justin, VIC
